Making a connection, being receptive, taking in stories, being inspired and catching that chemistry somewhere where it could be contained and shared with others to move,  inspire or challenge them, is why I do what I do.

 

My love for, and interest in, humankind, is what initially led me to medicine. It's the complexity, the misconceptions, the diversity, the simplicity and the beauty of humankind that fascinates me. The adjectives are endless really, which is exactly what makes it unexpectedly pleasant or 'just plain' interesting to interact with others, on and off screen.

With a medical degree and a license to practice, I am definitely not your everyday TV personality, actress or content creator, but then again, who wants that anyway, right? 

 

Intertwining humor, wit, curiosity and every now and again; the element of surprise, no subject is off limits when it comes to an in depth conversation.

 

Working both freelance for national and international clients, as well as for local, regional and national TV stations, has been an absolute pleasure and a beautiful opportunity to grow, create and contribute to content on many different scales. Three of many highlights in recent years have been being awarded a Talent Award as an anchor, being selected as one of 7 program creators with my own TV formart by the VPRO and hosting world renowed Jazz Festival North Sea Jazz Festival on TV for broadcaster NTR.
